Trying To Not Be So Critical Of Myself

I know since I haven't worked out in about year, I shouldn't be so critical of such a s****y run time, but literally I cringed so hard. A 12 minute pace for approximately 2.5 miles. I haven't been this s****y since 6 years ago. It also doesn't help that I'm sick which makes running so much more terrible, but I suppose it cannot be helped. Besides, I suppose running will help boost my immune system? Whatever, trying to think positive.

Starting over is frustrating because the cardio is crappy without the endorphins. I can't wait to improve to where I actually look forward to working out to get that 'high'.

My minimum goal is to down to an 8 min pace. Overall goal is a 6 min pace like how I used to run.

Minimum goal for distance is at least 2 miles per session, at least 3-4 days a week. Overall goal is getting back to +6 miles and working out 5 days of the week.
