Two women who've torn me apart.
One so coy I am stuck in a daze,
The other so pretty I'm caught in a craze.
Both I met while away from home,
But when I return their distance is known.
This one shares a distance not far,
That one to find I must follow a star.
Two intertwine and as friends together,
Both are beautiful in all types of weather.
One has seen more summers but not snow,
The other too few of both that I know.
Both will return back to their lives,
To renew family and friendship ties.
One to her man, his name unknown,
The other back to being alone.
To one I will remain just a memory,
Of sweet times, fun, and good company.
The other a friend to see here and there,
To consult on life both like to share.
But neither will be mine to forever hold,
One with no ending never to be told.
