To Be Honest

I think that atheism can easily lead to depression. If there is no God, there is no purpose in life, we are like a particle of dust. Once we die, it's over, nothing to hope for, nothing to wish for, nothing. The universe is infinite, chaotic and cold; time is as big as the universe, therefore a person and their existence are too insignificant. Life would be like a period in the middle of a book. Love, hope and intelligence would have no transcendence at all, people would be disposable because who cares about a teeny-tiny existence like many, many others in the middle of infinity. All these thoughts would make me feel empty and depressed really.

Lions don't usually live in jungles. Just saying.

Other thsn that the OP's position is one of ignorance. No amount of debate or fact will change their views.

It's not without purpose. All creatures on Earth are here for one reason only:
To make more of those creatures.

Same goes for us. If you don't like that, then give your life purpose and meaning. Don't only do good things so that eventually YOU go to a nice land of milk and honey. Do good things to improve the lives of others.

A life without purpose is no life, don't you agree?
