Step back

My friend's parents kicked him out...and I'm bitching about a speech.

Putting things in perspective makes my life seem so completely insignificant.

That is probably very true. I have a terrible attitude about absolutely everything. I just don't think, after this long, I can ever, ever go back to being happy without some serious help.

I really do want it to get better.

well if you're into that... i say your attitude is what brings you down, you shouldn't rely on medications or anything else for you to be happy. i'm a heavy drug user and currently i've been sober off everything besides nicotine for about 2 weeks, no withdrawals either. the way i see it, happiness can NATURALLY come from the inside as well, not just induced by substances or from outside conditions.

sorry i didn't answer you on your other post, but yes you can feel better, it's just up to you :)

It does, doesn't it. But sometimes our problems seem big compared to the rest of our lives until we see other people's lives. Our problems seem significant to us cause they are compared to our past, not anyone else's.
