Science career

I keep feeling like this isn't a real career area. Not just that it might be hard to get into, it just doesn't doesn't exist.I think that's why I'm so hesitant to jump into it, even though I know better.

And it's a good thing that I do know better, because I feel like it really would be a good job area to go into.My teachers seem to agree, and my own behavior from my perspective; in most classes I might comment/question here and there but nothing unusual, in a lot of science classes I can't shut up.Then I get to the end of the semester and have the professor tell me that they need people like me in their field.

My test results say the same thing...both of the type codes I got (IAR for the strong interest/holland code, INTP for myers-briggs) point to hard sciences being good for me, not that I'd listen if they seemed totally wrong but it's a bit encouraging that they agree. My career counselor seemed to agree. My friends are not help, and my parents are purposefully unaware of my position in school until it gets better.

I know I can't just leave it as science is my major, but I think it's good enough for right now...it's enough to make me comfortable with what type of classes I should take this semester, since I'm still at basic classes.

I knew I should have just gone for associate of general studies, even arts or sciences I didn't really have down two years ago (I picked arts).Oh well.I can claim that I did it on purpose to get some balance! Or something.

Thank you for actually reading. -_- I'm assuming you're calling me an idiot for the first bit that ended with "... even though I know better"?

-_-" you're an idiot. How did you even get into college?

I'm a science major. I'm going for a science job. There are a ton of careers for mostly any science you get into. Unless it's like a scientific historian.
