People only seem to want to respond

To things not worth giving voice. Not worth listening to.The bullshit that people talk about simply for the sake of talking. And, yes, that has it's place. But in what world does it make any sense to talk about only that, even with your best friends?

Not that anyone cares, but it's almost bedtime. The only friendly communication I've really gotten this weekend was asking dumbass if he could tell who an actress was in the movie I'm currently watching.
He completely ignored me when I tried to talk about getting scared or how my old best friend doesn't even have me on his list anymore. And I know better than to even try to talk about us.I wish I was surprised or that I could say that maybe it was just one instance.

Looks like people are just fed up of the overdramatic bullshit. It happens. Especially if you overdramatise everything, and only want to talk about yourself.

Why should anyone give a shit if somebody who used to be your friend grew out of your friendship? That's not a "deeper" conversation, it's a conversation that makes one wonder if they want to have you in their "list" at all.

Try asking THEM how their day was, and talking about the things THEY want to talk about instead.

In the end, the only friend you have is yourself.

Sometimes. Part of what bothers me is my friends won't bother talking to me about anything deeper than new job or introducing their significant other if they're there anyway.

People usually only want someone to listen to there own problems, and they don't want to have to worry about anyone elses.

It's pretty sad.
