don't talk to her parents because that will make you lose any trust that she has in you

Look do NOT bring it up in frount of a class you will only end in makeing her feel like an outsider, which is the last thing you what to do. If you are really going to helpher, and i mean not just ask and then inform someone else, then talk to her in privet and tell her that you will be there to listen if she needs it. Dont throw God in her face and dont push the issue you will only make it worse. If you feel like you cant help her the way she needs talk to her and ask her what she wants. Please do not go and inform her parents they might be the reason she is doing what she's doing. If you can not help her then see if you can give her a number to a hotline where she can talk to smebody. Take it from somebody who has been where she is at, any wrong move or aggressive move from you could lead her futher down the rabbit whole instead of out of it. Tread lightly shes hurrting.

Maybe you should do a lesson on it about how God wouldn't want you to hurt yourself. He'd want you to be happy and embrace life.
Sorry if that sounded like I was mocking you or God. I've never been a religious person, so if this sounded like I was being a jerk, it was 100% unintentional. I promise.
Maybe you should ask her how things are for her. Not like, "Are you depressed?" or "Have you ever harmed yourself?" But something more along the lines of "How are things going for you? Remember, if you need help with anything, you can come to me."
I hope this helps!
thank you and God bless

I can understand your concern, but it may be best to take no action at all.

If you insist upon doing something, talk to her parents and pray for her.
