Life is grand.

Even on the most painful of days, I love life.

it's a gift that we all have but only few cherish now a days.

the simple joy of living.

oi.

it's a relief though, i don't feel that dreaded wire which was actually digging 4 inches into my spine, according to my dad who saw it (i was sitting down as it was being pulled out, surprised i didn't feel much)

and now that the IV is gone i can use both hands to type haha.

now if only my chest was healed, then it'd be a miracle..

I'm not sure if most sadists go by "I deserve this" as much as they think "I want/need this". Haha but what you're saying does make sense.

i do but not in the stereotypical sadist's "i deserve this" philosophy.

more in the sense that pain is what breaks us down so we can build ourselves back up.

the pain i'm experiencing will help me become the best in the future...

That sounds slightly sadistic, you must enjoy the pain.
