I hate my life

...my manager, my job, my general lack of communication with all my friends but one, my perfectionism, my loaded schedule, my ...

You get the point.

But mostly just my manager.

Thanks, Rob. That made me feel better. :)

And Olivez, my job isn't so bad when this manager isn't on duty. And even when he is there it's ok as long as I have a friend working with me. Yesterday I just ended up being the only one doing anything, basically, because I wasn't working with friends and the manager decided to sit down and not work all day. But the girl from Baskin Robbins came over and helped out a bit when I was really swamped, thank heavens.

Plus, I can't afford to apply to any more jobs. If I quit this one, that limits my choices down by four for places I can apply to, because I work in a (tiny) food court, and the same manager runs all the hiring for all the food court. I live in a REALLY small town, and I would only have probably 2 other places I could apply for. My mom probably wouldn't let me get a new job anyway, since she thinks I've already overloaded myself with stuff this year, and she wants me to just focus on my last year of school. She already thinks I should quit this one, or at least only work twice a week (undoable, duh), but I have to pay for school. So I'll just be glad when I avoid working with this manager, and deal with it when I don't avoid it.

Oh hunni... Long day? :( I hate those. When the world seems to be closin in on you. It'll be ok. You need to break free from the cycle if you hate it all so much. Try applying at new jobs?

Simplify your problems to manageable chunks and take them on one at a time. They won't seem so overwhelming.

No matter where you go in the world there will always be assholes. Your manager is apparently one of them.

Do your best not to let him/her get to you. Or talk to them about the issue.
